Danny Darby Designs

Welcome! My name is Danny Darby (He/They), I'm a recent Graduate from Brenau University with a BFA in Fashion Design with a focus in Costuming. My primary areas of study are in patterning and draping, historic costuming, garment design and construction, and graphic design.

I first started learning to sew at the age of 13 to make my own costumes, and slowly, through 8 years of practice and self teaching followed by a three and a half of guided education, I've grown my passion into creating fantastical designs of both my imagination and others'.

Some of my favorite work involves "tedious" work such as hand beading and embroidery, hand sewing, corsetry, or even smocking!
