Fall/Spring '25-'26
My job as Costume Shop Supervisor involves every aspect of costume creation including: draping/cutting, tailoring, stitching, purchasing/budgeting, fittings, aging/dying, wig styling, as well as teaching my students of different degree backgrounds how to do the same things in order to produce four shows an academic year. I was also Assistant Designer on Sister Act.

Junie B. Jones is Not a Crook
The timeline for this show was about 5 weeks, and was a nice mix of builds and bought/altered pieces. I taught several students how to pattern and drape, ventilate wigs using yarn, painting costumes and shoes, and how to airbrush. There were some concerns with our very brief deadlines and the amount of crocheted wigs, but with both my students and the designer crocheting many of the base wigs, it worked out beautifully. We also had a campus-wide power outage in the middle of this process and still managed to finish the build! Click on the various photos to learn more of what was created for this show!
